NIV I walk by some people, say hello and get nothing in return. Theyre able to talk, just dont have the common courtesy they should. Its rude. We all have a good morning, or a how you doin? in us dont we? Ive also seen a lot of folks go above and beyond in their jobs, and no one says a word to them to acknowledge it. Again, not right. Dont get me wrong, Ive stood at attention at Military Commanders Calls, and seen people get decorations just because theyre leaving a Base. (The more Bases you leave the more decorations they have, thats stupid.) Ive also heard them read some of the decorations, and I could translate it into this for you. They did their job, did their job, did their job, and did it okay. They did what they got paid to do, did their job, did their job and blah-blah-blah, did their job. Oh well, I typed all that to say, if I see someone go above-&-beyond, I tell them and their boss. My tips usually reflect great service, prompt attention, true concern, and overall kindness. So with all that said, Im gonna go out today say my good-mornings, compliment those that deserve it, and give what I can to those that earn it. LORD help me not to withhold good, and give recognition to others. Amen. And may the sports commentators, wake-up, stop those biased mouths, and just call the games as theyre played out. If not, Ill just turn the volume down, turn the radio on to an Alabama network, and listen to that while watching the game. Roll that Tide!!!
