Proverbs 30:5 "Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him." We all have heard it said that a man is as good as his word. When what he says matches what he does we know that he can be trusted. Jesus said that He would never leave or forsake us. Because His word is pure truth, we can trust Him. That means we don’t have to fear standing up against evil. Being salt and light means standing against evil in the world. Because He will never leave us and because He will protect us, we can boldly stand up for righteousness. If He is our shield what do we have to fear? Thank Him today for His continued protection.
