Proverbs 31:28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. I guess you could say this will be one of the hardest post I will ever have to write, but also one of the most precious posts. She is blessed, she is our rock, she has the heart of gold and the love of Jesus. Many of you know that mom has been battling cancer for some time now. This past week we found out the cancer has spread to both of her lungs. This was hard news because we all love her so much. With this news, decisions needed to be made and I can tell you we all hurt, we all cry, but we all know that by the life mom has lived her soul will forever be with Jesus. The main focus for mom right now is to be at ease and to be comfortable. She has made the decision to not have any more chemo. She has made the decision to come home and live out her days with her family and friends under hospice care. She is at peace. So many of you have done so much for my family during this time and I wish I could thank each of you personally and tell you personally instead of on facebook. I truly am sorry that you are reading this on facebook. Many of you, I know will grieve just as we are, but I want you to know that even when I cry I am not discouraged, and I am not mad at God. I can tell you from the first day that we found out mom had cancer God has been with us. He has never once left us. I have experienced his peace during this. As strange as this sounds, I am grateful for this time even going through this journey because it is during this time that I have learned to lean more on Jesus and I have grown in my walk with the Lord. Life is short and we have but one chance to make a difference. I believe my mother made that difference. As I sit here and watch her I can only hope that one day I will have her strength and courage. I believe that when her visitors leave they walk away with the blessing. She is amazing and has always been. Please be in prayer for my family as the days ahead are unknown. Please pray for my father, my sisters, those wonderful grandchildren and my Aunt and Grandmother as this will be hard for them. Many of my family and friends are walking or have walked this same journey and I pray for God’s peace to be with you. Please don’t be discouraged, please don’t give up, keep looking to God unto there is a cure. I love each of you. Tammy
