Provided below is a detailed description of a religious system directly from the Word of God. I won’t name it, please feel free to do so yourself in the comments. The deities of this religion is Baal, and Ashteroth, FYI Revelation 2:2-13King James Version (KJV) 2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are APOSTLES, and are not, and hast found them liars: 3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my names sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. 4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. 5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. 6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the NICOLAITANES, which I also hate. 13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satans seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth. Nicolaism (also Nicholaism, Nicolationism, or Nicolaitanism) Etymology[edit] Nico-, combinatory form of nīko, victory in Greek, and laos means people, or more specifically, the laity; hence, the word may be taken to mean lay conquerors or conquerors of the lay people. Anyone know a religious system who claims apostolic succession and rules over the people who follow them? How about a religious system that has the blood of martyrs on its hands? Judges 17:1-13King James Version (KJV) 17 And there was a man of mount Ephraim, whose name was Micah. 2 And he said unto his mother, The eleven hundred shekels of silver that were taken from thee, about which thou cursedst, and spakest of also in mine ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it. And his mother said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my son. 3 And when he had restored the eleven hundred shekels of silver to his mother, his mother said, I had wholly dedicated the silver unto the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a graven image and a molten image: now therefore I will restore it unto thee. 4 Yet he restored the money unto his mother; and his mother took two hundred shekels of silver, and gave them to the founder, who made thereof a graven image and a molten image: and they were in the house of Micah. 5 And the man Micah had an house of gods, and made an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his priest. 6 In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes. 7 And there was a young man out of Bethlehemjudah of the family of Judah, who was a Levite, and he sojourned there. 8 And the man departed out of the city from Bethlehemjudah to sojourn where he could find a place: and he came to mount Ephraim to the house of Micah, as he journeyed. 9 And Micah said unto him, Whence comest thou? And he said unto him, I am a Levite of Bethlehemjudah, and I go to sojourn where I may find a place. 10 And Micah said unto him, Dwell with me, and be unto me a father and a priest, and I will give thee ten shekels of silver by the year, and a suit of apparel, and thy victuals. So the Levite went in. ephod [ef-od, ee-fod] Spell Syllables a richly embroidered, apronlike vestment having two shoulder strapsand ornamental attachments for securing the breastplate, worn with awaistband by the high priest. And they proclaimed it. 21 And Jehu sent through all Israel: and all the worshippers of Baal came, so that there was not a man left that came not. And they came into the house of Baal; and the house of Baal was full from one end to another. 22 And he said unto him that was over the vestry, Bring forth vestments for all the worshippers of Baal. Revelation 17:3-5King James Version (KJV) 3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: 5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. Do you know of a religious system that has the colors purple and scarlet for robes, that wear big necklaces, with priestly robes, that has a golden cup, with priests they call Father, that have buildings with statues that are full for worship? Jeremiah 44:15-19King James Version (KJV) 15 Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying, 16 As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto thee. 17 But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil. 18 But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine. 19 And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings unto her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings unto her, without our men? Wait, what are the cakes and the drink offerings? Here>>>>>>> Jeremiah 7:18King James Version (KJV) 18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger. So this religious system has long priestly robes, with places of worship full of statues, that wears priestly necklaces, that have priests called Fathers, who have the colors of purple and scarlet, with the blood of martyrs on their hands, that have “victory” or dominance over their subjects, who has a queen of Heaven that there are drink offerings of blood, in a golden cup, with wafers as their victuals, that has an apostolic succession that is followed. Ok there is more…. 1 Samuel 5:1-4King James Version (KJV) 5 And the Philistines took the ark of God, and brought it from Ebenezer unto Ashdod. 2 When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon. 3 And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the LORD. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again. 4 And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him. Dagon was originally an East Semitic Mesopotamian (Akkadian, Assyrian, Babylonian) fertility god who evolved into a major Northwest Semitic god, reportedly of grain (as symbol of fertility) and fish and/or fishing (as symbol of multiplying) Dagon was the fish god. Summary: These are the complete traits of the religious system in the world today. For review, they have priests that are called Father, that wear ephods (long priestly robes), along with teraphims (extravagant necklaces with a graven image on it). They wear big pointed hats that look like a fish mouth. Their colors are purple and scarlet. They have a place of worship that is full of worshipers in whom they have dominion over (Nicolatians) with statues of idolatry everywhere, whom worship the queen of Heaven, pouring out drink offerings of blood with a golden cup, and baking cakes to eat. They create big gatherings wither they go so that men may see their works. Where they go, people bow down to them and kiss their rings/hands. And finally, they claim to have apostolic succession and have the blood of martyrs on their hands. Can you name this system? If so What does the Word say about this religious system>>>>>> 2 Corinthians 6:14-18King James Version (KJV) 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM!
