Providence – God’s divine intervention. I believe it with all my heart. We went to a small shop in Fort Wayne that God enters into every single day. His presence is felt when you walk in the door. This place is called Creative Women of the World. It started about 2 years ago by a lady named Lorelei in her basement and it is growing every day! She was raised in Japan, a daughter of missionaries. Her sister is a missionary there today. This business is dedicated to inspiring and helping women around the world seeking to rise out of poverty. They were happy to meet Josephine and to see the beautiful necklaces and baskets that have been handmade by the girls at The Fortress. The items that Josephine brought will now be sold in this shop. Bill bought me a necklace from the shop for my Birthday. It is a gift I will treasure forever. It is a necklace from the Nozomi Project translated “hope” in Japanese. This project is dedicated to bringing hope to women who are survivors of the 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Japan. The Nozomi women are working to create one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry using broken pottery left in the wake of the tsunami. Each piece of pottery that they have found is transformed into a beautiful treasure. My piece was handmade with hope by Tomoko. I will post a picture. In the past few weeks 2 of the ladies making the jewelry have accepted Jesus as their Savior! Now that is beauty in brokenness. Thank you Father! I’m going back to this shop and I want to bring others with me. The website is Creative Women of the World. Let me know it you want to go! Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20.
