Mark Pryor is launching a womens coalition to tout his support of raising Arkansas minimum wage and equal pay as he faces a tough bid for a third term. The two-term Democratic lawmaker from Arkansas on Thursday announced the launch of the Women for Pryor coalition aimed at turning out the female vote for his November matchup against Republican rival and U.S. Rep. Tom Cotton. The race is one of the most closely watched in the country, and Republicans view it as key to their bid to win a majority in the Senate. Pryor touted his support for a measure vying for a spot on the November ballot that would gradually raise the states minimum wage. Copyright 2014 The Associated Press. All rights reserved.
