Ps 133:1: How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! I have people calling, stopping by, stopping me in the halls, calling me, emailing me and giving me money to run for an office that a board of supervisor might be/is retiring. We are 2 years away. I am a true servant, however we have to be careful and do not let a new event take over our lives. That is lose sight of our goal; love thy God, love they neighbor, spread the Gospel, the Good news, and prepare for our real home. Heaven. I see so many people get tapped on the shoulder that are serving well in the church for a political office. They lose sight of Christ. Furthermore, wrapping themselves in civic events or a political office while the power goes to their head. Then they stop coming to church and attend only during an election year. I can show you two that have done this and I can show you two that will do this. The Devil is Slick!
