Ps.91v1-ff. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. According to Oxford Dictionary, to dwell is to live in or be at a specified place. ...he that lives or stays at the secret place of the most High... To live therein,first of all, one must be of His own. It is a delibrate effort to stay, live and make the place an abode - Home away from home!!! This is a decision made without being pressurized or lured into what is against ones wish or desire. Those that would be found in His secret place are not visitors. No provision is made for those who only wish to come as visitors but those that desire, decide with delibrate decision to permanently stay in situ. Again to dwell in His secret place shows that such an individual wish for an intimate fellowship with Him no matter the cost, a place where saints dwell, and enjoy much communion with God; and who are particularly under his special providence, protection, and power; which He herein designed for His own and because therein so many of His secrets are shared and are made known unto His own. ...shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty!!! The shadow of the Almighty is big enough to accommodate, satisfy, preserve, protect, empower, nuorish and refresh His own. There are so many benefits known at the shadow of His wings. These could however be made available to the "He" that dwells therein. The all-breasted God has many many things in His Treasury only for those that would resign from struggling or trusting in the abundance of their riches...(Ps57v7)in making things happen but rather trust in His divine ability to satisfy them with the abundance of His house. This is a place where saints surrender all unto Him our blessed saviour who has all it takes to cater for His own, from the fiery darts of Satan,the fury of persecutors or tormentors, evil doers, etc, under this shadow do they abide or lodge all day, night, safe and secure. God still desires a place to commune with His own. He wants to pour His heart for His own - in His secret place under the shadow of His wings. There are some secrets to be known. Grace to be given and Grace for Grace. Mercy to help in all times of need. In the shadow of His wings(Ps 17v8),He keeps His own, the Apple of His eyes from all forms of danger. Oh, what a place to be, to be helped, graced, empowered, energized, equipped for greater exploits, a secret place from the attack of the enemies where no darts of the evil ones can reach. A place where gracious souls dwell. Ps 91v2 - A city of peace and refuge. Where He delivers from the snare of the fowler and from noisome pestilence. He covers His own with His wings as His trust shall be their shield and buckler where they shall never be afraid of terror by night nor for the arrows that flieth by day...
