Psa 8:1 To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm of David. O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. Psa 8:2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. Psa 8:3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; Psa 8:4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? Psa 8:5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Psa 8:6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: Psa 8:7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; Psa 8:8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. Psa 8:9 O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! I could not have said it any better,my dearest brothers and sisters! A very blessed and happy Sabbath to all of you wherever you are, wishing you all the blessings of the rest day of God. My Hymn of the week is ............. O worship the King O worship the King All glorious above O gratefully sing His power and His love Our Shield and Defender The Ancient of Days Pavilioned in splendour And girded with praise O tell of His might O sing of His grace Whose robe is the light His chariots of wrath The deep thunder-clouds form And dark is His path On the wings of the storm The earth, with its store Of wonders untold, Almighty, Thy power Hath founded of old Hath ‘stablished it fast By a changeless decree And round it hath cast Like a mantle, the sea Thy bountiful care What tongue can recite? It breathes in the air It shines in the light It streams from the hills It descends to the plain And sweetly distils In the dew and the rain Frail children of dust And feeble as frail In Thee do we trust Nor find Thee to fail Thy mercies how tender How firm to the end Our Maker, Defender Redeemer, and Friend!
