Psalm 112:1-5 Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who delights greatly in His commandments. His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches will be in his house, And his righteousness endures forever. Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. A good man deals graciously and lends; He will guide his affairs with discretion. Living with integrity, conducting affairs with justice, dealing graciously and lending; these are marks of obedience to the Lord, and they are not the only examples. Our obedience to God begins with Jesus Christ, and believing in the One who God the Father has sent to us to restore our relationship with Him. Living this way not only benefits you, but it benefits your children, and the generations to come. What you choose to do every day affects your children, and my prayer is that all would recognize this and be convicted to act accordingly for their benefit in Christ Jesus. This verse does not mean persecution will not come, and it does not promise a trouble-free life.
