Psalm 113:1-3 (NIV) Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord, you his servants; praise the name of the Lord. Let the name of the Lord be praised, both now and forevermore. Just to remember God is a blessing—now and tomorrow and always. From east to west, from dawn to dusk, keep lifting all your praises to God! ******************************************************* Let every living, breathing creature praise God! Hallelujah! Psalm 150:6 (MSG) Our reason and purpose is to bring praise to the name of the Lord. We are to lift up His Name today, tomorrow and forever it is the very reason for our being. Make it as clear as you can to all you meet that you’re on their side, working with them and not against them. Help them see that the Master is about to arrive. He could show up any minute! -Philippians 4:4-5 (MSG) Every moment of every day should be our honor and privilege to worship and praise our God. How is that possible? By being sure that everything we do and say brings honor to His Name; by being in a state and mind set of worship at all times. If we find ourselves in a place where we feel like we cannot worship God, then maybe we are not in a place that we should be. Consider why you are unable to worship and move yourself out of that situation. There is always a reason to praise and worship the King of Kings. David informs us that we can and should be praising Him from the rising of the sun till the going down; from dawn till dusk keep lifting your praise to the Almighty. David also says, On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night. -Psalm 63:6 (NIV) In hours of morning light, when the dew is on the grass, and our soul is full of gladness, and in the hours of the setting sun, when the day is weary, and the night seems coming on, still let the Lord have the praise that is his due, for he is always to be praised. There is never an hour in which it would be unseemly to praise God. For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven; but the praising of God is never out of season. All time and all eternity may be dedicated to this blessed work. -Spurgeon Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if only you would hear his voice, -Psalm 95:6-7 (NIV) Shout Bravo! to God, families of the peoples, in awe of the Glory, in awe of the Strength: Bravo! Shout Bravo! to his famous Name, lift high an offering and enter his presence! Stand resplendent in his robes of holiness! -1 Chronicles 16:28-29 (MSG) Fanny Crosby, the writer of so many of our hymns, appropriately writes these words of praise: Praise Him! Praise Him! Jesus, our blessèd Redeemer! Sing, O Earth, His wonderful love proclaim! Hail Him! hail Him! highest archangels in glory; Strength and honor give to His holy Name! Like a shepherd, Jesus will guard His children, In His arms He carries them all day long: Praise Him! Praise Him! Tell of His excellent greatness. Praise Him! Praise Him! Ever in joyful song! Today, may your heart be in a state of praise! Allow that praise to spring forth from your lips freely. Dont begrudge God the praise that is due Him; for He is worthy of all praise! My Prayer: Lord, You are indeed worthy of all my praise. I want to bring honor and glory to your Name. You are my God, the Creator of all things, my Savior and Lord. I want to give praise where praise is due; for without you I am nothing. Hallelujah! God you are amazing, marvelous and wonderful! You watch over your children and bless them in ways that are beyond their imagination. Thank you God for being who you are and thank you for being MY God!
