Psalm 119:161 Rulers persecute me without cause, but my heart - TopicsExpress

Psalm 119:161 Rulers persecute me without cause, but my heart trembles at your word. God belongs to each of us and to all of us in a personal way. God is our personal God while at the same time living in His heavenly home. Because God is personal to us and personal within us, we must do all we can to honor Him and obey Him. In our reverence and respect for Him, we must all try to express to Him our love and gratitude every day. Although in the chaos of our world it may seem God is not with us, we recognize God has power and His power is infinite to rule over us and rule our lives. We must all recognize God has infinite power to rule over us while He gives us freedom to do as we will. In addition, we must all remain simple and humble in His sight as we do only His will rather than our own. We must live in reverence, awe, and respect for God because God communicates to the world through each of us whether we realize His action in this regard or not. How we live, what we say, do, and think is how God shows Himself to others. In our prayer and devotional life, we must all pray to be God’s simple, humble, and contrite spiritual light to the world. No matter how many burdens, trials, and unfilled needs we must carry each day, we must always put our reverence, awe, worship, and wonder of Him before any selfish need or want on our part. No matter how much of a need we may have, we must always put God and others before ourselves. We must always be in a state of reverence and awe of God’s love in spite of our trials, tribulations, and temptations. When we remain in a spirit of reverence and awe, we have a great power with us to defeat every trial, tribulation, and temptation. In our reverence and awe we must seek God’s will and grace to be made real in us. In reverence and awe, we must pray to God every day for His leadership and guidance.
