Psalm 119:33 HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I - TopicsExpress

Psalm 119:33 HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end. 34 Give me understanding , and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart. 35 Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight. 36 Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness. Sometimes we forget to do what we have learned. Think about it, in some things that we learn when we have done it “enough” we may start to take short-cuts. That could be bad. I dont think I would want to get in an airplane where the pilot takes short cuts! Teach and I will do, make me to understand and I will keep with my whole heart. Sounds like a lot, but it can be done. God expects us to implement what we learn and use it. Someone taught you to tie your shoes and if you wear shoes you are probably implementing what you have learned on a regular basis (get the point?). The truth to learn in this is the more you do something the more you should come to enjoy it. If we are not enjoying the Word we really need to find out the underlying reason why. We are keeping ourselves from our source of help, strength and hope when we stay away from the Word.
