Psalm 121:8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming - TopicsExpress

Psalm 121:8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. This evening as I was traveling home on my motorcycle I was enjoying the ride on this beautiful fall evening. Out of nowhere a small dog walked in front of my bike. I was traveling about 55 mph and this dog was a mere 20 feet in front of me. I was going to hit this dog. I stomped the brake and the rear tire of the bike began to shimmy from side to side and just as I felt the bike was about to lay over it righted itself and the dog was out of the way. I let out a huge Thank You!! But just as Paul Harvey always said, “And now, for the rest of the story.” The near accident had slowed me up a few seconds. As I was a mere ¼ mile from the house I was rounding a curve. A Dodge Charge cut that corner and was completely on my side of the road. Had I not been slowed down those few seconds by the dog, I would have had a head on collision with that car. Now, you might say it is all coincidence. You may say it was my expert skills on the bike that kept me from going over. You may even attribute it to karma or good luck. I cannot believe that it was any of the above. It was the divine hand of my Lord and Savior who protected me. I don’t know why and I don’t know how but I can only attribute this to His mighty hand. Today was not my time and God saw to it that I was protected. The Lord protects and provides for them that love and serve Him. And, had He chose for me to go through the trials of an accident or called me home I know that He would be with me either way. All I can say is thank you Lord. If you don’t know my Jesus then all you need do is seek Him and you will find Him. Sorry to be preachy but I just had to tell how wonderful my God is to me!!
