Psalm 16:1-4 Protect me, O God, for I have taken shelter in you. - TopicsExpress

Psalm 16:1-4 Protect me, O God, for I have taken shelter in you. I say to the Lord, “You are the Lord, my only source of well-being.” As for God’s chosen people who are in the land, and the leading officials I admired so much— their troubles multiply, they desire other gods. I will not pour out drink offerings of blood to their gods, nor will I make vows in the name of their gods. Strong Tower, Mighty Refuge, Fortress: the Bible is clear about God being able to protect. He protects the poor, the helpless, those who cannot defend themselves. Lord God, please receive us when we choose to run to You in the storms and trials of our lives! We take courage in knowing that You are our God and that Your justice is perfect and will be the ultimate outcome of every situation, every disagreement, every threat or disaster in our lives. Be our strength Lord, keep us safe. Emotionally, Physically, Spiritually, and in every way Lord be our more than enough. Verse/Commentary courtesy of Verse-A-Day app. verse-a-day/Apps
