Then I will be blameless, and innocent of blatant rebellion. May my words and my thoughts be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my sheltering rock and my redeemer. Asking God forgiveness for hidden faults comes from a place of humility, from a heart that recognizes that we will never know ourselves as well as God knows us. Presumptuous sin (NKJV) parades around like a juggernaut to our faith. These sins want us to feel ashamed, like we cannot approach God, or do not have control over them. Take up the armor of God and do not be fooled! Stand firm in your faith! Give the battles of addiction and deliberate sin to the Lord for triumph! He is able to forgive and you are able to overcome by the power of Christ!
