Psalm 19:12-14 Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults. Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins;Let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, And I shall be innocent of great transgression. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. Asking God forgiveness for hidden faults comes from a place of humility, from a heart that recognizes that we will never know ourselves as well as God knows us. Presumptuous sin (NKJV) parades around like a juggernaut to our faith. These sins want us to feel ashamed, like we cannot approach God, or do not have control over them. Take up the armor of God and do not be fooled! Stand firm in your faith! Give the battles of addiction and deliberate sin to the Lord for triumph! He is able to forgive and you are able to overcome by the power of Christ!
