Psalm 20: 1-5 May the Lord answer you when you are in trouble; - TopicsExpress

Psalm 20: 1-5 May the Lord answer you when you are in trouble; may the God of Jacob make you secure! May He send you help from His temple; from Zion may He give you support! May He take notice of your offerings; may He accept your burnt sacrifice! (Selah) May He grant your heart’s desire; may He bring all your plans to pass! Then we will shout for joy over your victory; we will rejoice in the name of our God! May the Lord grant all your requests. (As the people of Israel interceded for David before the battle, this Psalm is a good example of how we can pray for one another. The people of God can appeal to God for victory over their spiritual enemies. When we are walking with Him we can be confident that He is willing and able to subdue the powers of darkness. God has assured us of our ultimate victory. We can rejoice in His salvation, and in the name of God we can raise our banner high, for the Lord will fulfill our petitions. Blessed be the name of the Lord.)
