Psalm 24:1-2 The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters. Satan would like you to think he is in charge, but he is not. Jesus is in charge, and everything has been placed under His authority. When lies and deceit attack your heart and attempt to derail your faith, remember that you are sealed in Christ whos power is far greater. Satan cannot touch Jesus: he tried in the desert and failed, and he fails every time. We are in danger when we do not depend fully on the sufficiency of Christ. That is when we become vulnerable and forget that our hearts belong to Jesus.
