Psalm 25: 4.5; Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. (5) - TopicsExpress

Psalm 25: 4.5; Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. (5) Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day. NKJV. This is a time during the life of David when he needed guidance, so he asked God to teach him in the way that he should go, lead him to the truth and righteousness of a Holy God, and to guide him for he knew that Yahweh was the God of his salvation, and that their was no other one. We to have to struggle in the things that come our way just as David had to face many hardships, so do we. And to find our way, we are much better off than David, for now we have the entire word of God, and our helper the Holy Spirit, who Jesus gave to us to teach and guide us when we listen. We also can rely on this verse from another psalm of David. Psalm 5: 8; Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; Make Your way straight before my face. NKJV. Here is another guide for us, Psalm 119, a Psalm that is all about the law of the Lord and how He would have us live in His righteousness, but always remember that its just one portion of the bible, but as we have difficulties in our lives when we are earnest about seeking the Lord, He will guide us to what we shall do. Because the answer to any difficulty that we may face can be found in the word of God, when we seek diligently for the answer. All throughout the Bible we are taught by the Lord, and one of my personal favorites is from the words of Solomon in the proverbs. Proverbs 3: 5,6; Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; (6) In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. NKJV. From time to time the Lord God sent the prophets into the world to teach His people Israel. Then the Savior of mankind, Jesus came to His own, and we know about His life from the Four Gospels, and from the writers of the New Testament, such as Paul, Peter, James, John, Jude, and the writer of Hebrews, and their words that was given to them were to teach us all things. However; We are to remember that regardless of who is given credit for writing them, they all came from our Lord who loves us so much, and desires that we know Him and have a relationship with Him that will last forever. So in our reading, let us never forget these words found in; 2 Timothy 3: 16,17; All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, (17) that the man of God may be complete thoroughly equipped for every good work. NKJV. Remembering that no matter where we find ourselves at, we have no need to fret or be anxious, for we are right were the Lord wants us to be. AMEN.
