Psalm 32:7 (NKJV)7 You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me - TopicsExpress

Psalm 32:7 (NKJV)7 You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. What is the first thing we tend to do when we do something wrong and we know there will be repercussions from it? From the very beginning of mans existence, right up until today, when we do something wrong our first reaction is to run and hide. Genesis 3:8 (NKJV) 8 And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. They knew they had disobeyed God, and their reaction was to hide from Him. How many of us have done things wrong and are still running and hiding from God? We can run but we cant hide. He sees the things we do right and the things we do wrong. Our so-called little hidden secrets are out in the open with Him, whether we like it or not. Dont be desensitized into thinking that its OK to continue in these things that are against Gods word, just because other Christians or other people do it and seem to get away with it. We are responsible for our own actions and we will have to answer for them. Lets make a decision in our hearts today to stop running and hiding from God. Instead hide in Him! Face the problem and let God help us change it. In Him there is deliverance!! Amen. Pastor Curt & Pastor Ellie
