Psalm 37:1 Do not fret because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong; 2 for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away. 3 Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. 4 Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Trust in the Lord! Do not worry about the bad guys seemingly coming out on top. Know that delighting in the Lord has some awesome benefits!! I used to always think this passage meant if I delighted in Him he would give me all my heart desired. As I grew in my walk with God I started seeing this in a totally different way. I now see this as God placing desires in my heart. Desires that align with His will for my life. In other words, He causes me to desire those things He desires. I will continue to grow and delight in the Lord because His desires fulfill all I could ever hope or wish for!! Thank you God!!
