Psalm 59:17 Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing - The source of strength to me. the real strength by which I have obtained deliverance is in thee. A similar sentiment is found in Psalm 59:9,10. God is my strength, God is my mercy. All that I have that is good, I have from God. For God is my defense - My high place or a place of refuge. A place where he would be safe.
