Psalm 59 When we look at parts of this Psalm like so many others; we see that there are more than one reference (points to David, Christ, Israel, the Antichrist and Born-Again Believers). Here it refers to David, Jesus, Believers today and to Israel today and the soon coming Antichrist who will hate Israel and almost wipe out Israel from the Earth. Deliver me from my enemies O my God. God Alone is able to deliver us from our enemies (verses 1-2). Evil men along with Absalom (Davids son) came against David to kill him. Jesus enemies were the religious leaders of Israel. Our enemies today are those who fight against us and try to tear us down; even though we have been forgiven by God of all our sins. Jesus knew no sin and yet these religious leaders wanted Him dead and right now (verses 3-4). God will visit all those who work against His children (verse 5). All day long the workers of evil howl like dogs. They think that their words are not heard by any, but God hears and God sees their wicked ways and God will vindicate Jesus and God will vindicate His children. God will laugh at their calamities and destruction (verses 6-8). God is Omnipotent (all powerful) so we will wait (be tied to, intertwinded and bound to) Him . He Alone is our defence (verse 9). Gods mercy will prevent (meet) all His children. He will take care of all our enemies (verse 10). God will vindicate Believers taday over our enemies in such a way that all will know that it was God Who had done it. God will consume the Antichrist and all who follow him at Armageddon. God will consume all the sinners at the Great White Throne Judgment (Revelatioin 20:11-15). During the Millennial Reign of Christ (1,000 year, Kingdom Age) (verses 13-17).
