Psalm 66-Praise for the mighty deeds of God- 1 Shout joyfully to God, all the earth. 2 Sing the glory of his name; Offer glory and praise. 3 Say to God, How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies cringe before you. 4 All the earth shall worship thee, And sing unto thee; Sing to thy name. Selah 5 Come and see the works of God, Terrible in the sons of men. 6 He turned the sea into dry land; By the river walk passed; There we rejoice in him. 7 He ruleth by his power for ever; His eyes behold the nations; Not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah 8 Bless, towns, our God, And make the voice of his praise. 9 holdeth our soul in life, And does not allow our feet to be moved. 10 For you have tested us, O God; We rehearse as silver is tried. 11 You brought us into the net; You put heavy load on our backs. 12 Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water, And brought us out to abundance. 13 go into thy house with burnt offerings; I will pay my vows, 14 Which my lips uttered And my mouth spoke when I was in trouble. 15 burnt offerings of fattened animals you offer, With incense of rams; I will offer a sacrifice bulls and goats. Selah 16 Come and hear, all ye that fear God, And tell you what I have done for my soul. 17 I cried unto him with my mouth; And he was extolled with my tongue. 18 If in my heart I had cherished iniquity The Lord will not hear me. 19 But verily God hath heard me; Attended to the voice of my supplication. 20 Blessed be God, Which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
