Psalm 78 This is a rather long Psalm, so I am not posting the verses, but am giving a thought from it and encouraging everyone to read this chapter for themselves. Sometimes God will give us our wants simply because we are so determined that what we want is what we need or deserve. Just like He gave the Israelites their wants, but in giving them their own desires, He gave them judgment. Sometimes God will allow us to get what we want so that we can see that what we wanted was not at all what we needed, and most definitely not the great intention that He had for our lives. Also, just like the israelites, God can, and will, forgive us if we will repent and turn our heart back over to Him; or we can continue to live under the judgment of God!
