Psalm 84 : 10 “ A single day in your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else . “ “ The Lord your healer “ Have you ever seen a mother nurse a baby for the first time, just after birth – it is a true marvel and display of inner love. No matter how tired or difficult the parent may find the responsibility, nothing is impossible for them to achieve. The same can be said about our relationship with God – no matter how good or bad we may be, or equally how far we may have drifted from the Lord, God loves us unconditionally and would do anything for us. Our faith does not end by us just reading Gods Word or praising Him, it goes beyond that to the level that we enjoy spending time in His presence. You see that is the reason the Psalmist says it is better to spend one day with the Lord, than a thousand days elsewhere. In just that one day God can release a fountain of blessing that will actually overtake you. God’s Word says “ He will do exceedingly, abundantly, more than we can think or ask “ ( Ephesians 3 : 20 – 21 ) – our faith in Jesus Christ has taught us that we can never outweigh, outline or outshine the blessings of our Lord. He is ever faithful, our Jehovah, our Prince of Peace and tower of strength, not just for one day but for every day in His presence. Let go of the burdens of this life, stop trying to fit in when God is calling you to stand out – you were born victorious and you will reign according to the order of Jesus Christ. People today is your day, be determined to live well and move away from all of the worldly things which can so easily bring you to ruin – run to win this race for Jesus Christ and the Gospel. Heavenly Father we thank you for this day and for the life that you have blessed us with. We humble ourselves before you Lord, that we may be calm and relaxed to listen to you. Speak to us as we seek more of you Lord, pour out more of your Spirit upon us that nothing may cause us to doubt your ability. Help us to walk with faith close beside us, may we never fail to seek your wisdom and may we trust that you have great things in store for us. We refuse to let go of you Lord, let our Spirit feed from yours that we may become more like you Father God – we live to glorify your Name, through your precious Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
