Psalm 92 Psalm 1. Song for the Sabbath. 2 It is good to praise the Lord, and celebrate thy name, O Most High, 3 published in the morning thy mercy and thy truth in the night, 4 on the instrument of ten strings, and upon the lute, with the harp arrangements. 5 You welcome me, Lord, for thy works, and I tremble before the works of thy hands. 6 What great are your works, O LORD, that thy thoughts are very deep! 7 The foolish man knows nothing, the fool can do nothing understand. 8 When the wicked spring as the grass, flower and all those who do evil, it is to be exterminated forever. 9 But thou art exalted for ever, Yahweh! 10 For behold thy enemies shall perish, all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered. 11 And you raise my horn like that of a buffalo, I am anointed with fresh oil. 12 Mine eye also shall see my enemies, and my ears have heard the wicked that rise up against me. 13 The righteous flourish like the palm tree: he shall rise like a cedar in Lebanon. 14 Planted in the house of Yahweh, they flourish in the courts of our God. 15 They will still bear fruit in old age; they will be full of sap and green, 16 to proclaim that Yahweh is right: he is my rock, and there is no injustice in him.
