Psalms 139:1-4 “O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord.” God knows everything about every one of us, even the ones who doubt His existence and deny a relationship with Him. How you are as a person, the choices you make, and the path you travel is not a surprise to God and does not catch Him off guard. He is not sitting up in heaven looking down at us shaking His head in disappointment. Instead He is sitting up in heaven looking down on us trying to guide us down the better path for our lives. When God brought each of us into existence, He already knew what kind of person we would be and how we would react in all the situations we would be presented with throughout our lives. We cannot hide from God and we should stop trying to hide from ourselves. We tend to present a certain picture to the world that hides what is truly inside. When we do this, we have to tendency to lose sight of the truth and start to operate according to the false picture. We need to stop trying to be what we think others want us to be, and just be who God made us to be. God made us the way we are and He knows what He wants to get out of us. Stop trying to hide and allow Him to make the most effective use of the specialness that is you. Be Blessed!
