Psalms 33:4 KJV For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth. He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord . Isaiah 59:14 Romans 1:25 We are the creature, He is the Creator. We have to let those truths of God be sovereign in our lives so we do not get deceived. We start to look at our feelings as the guiding light of our life rather than the Word. Human feelings can easily be deceptive, and easily be deceived. Psalm 55:5 Psalm 33:4 Psalm 40:10 Proverbs 8:7 Proverbs 12:19 Spiritual, Biblical, Godly truth is established, it has lasted and will last the test of time. It will be here long after the lying lips of men are dried up and faded away. A tongue that denies the truth only denies the truth in order to agree with some temporary human feeling. John 17:17 The truth is always revealed in His Word. 1 Thessalonians 2:13 Believing on the truth of God energizes us. 2 Thessalonians 2:10-11 1 Timothy 3:15 John 4:23 When we fully believe in the Truth of God, knowing that there is none greater, we can freely worship Him because we know we are worshiping the one true God. John 14:17 The Spirit of God works off of truth. When He works in you He always works from truth. John 14:6 John 8:32 Freedom comes from knowing the truth. Even if the truth doesnt sit well with you, or if it goes against your feelings, the end result of truth is always freedom. Truth will always lead you to freedom. Now that we know about truth, lets take a look at deception. If Satan came with horns and a pitchfork wed all recognize him and cast him out, but the Bible says he comes as an angel of light. Deception is the truth with a twist. Luke 21:8 You know the servants of the Lord because of their fruit, dont follow everyone who says they are anointed. If someone has to brag on their anointing, they probably dont have one. 2 Peter 2:1-2 Just like there were false prophets in the old testament, there are and will be false teachers among us. They will bring in their own ideas and feelings and taint Gods truth with them, leading them to the point that the truth of God is spoken evil of. 2 Timothy 4:3 Theyll get to a place where they are tired of hearing the same old truth and want something new. There is nothing new that is more true than the eternal truth of God. 2 Timothy 3:1-17 Without natural affections - perhaps an inconvenient truth in todays world, but regardless, an eternal truth that supersedes the social and moral norms of our society and culture today. If you live for Christ, there will be people who come against you. The evil men will continue deceiving, but scripture is able to make you wise if you stay in it and learn it rather than follow their deceptions. The Word of God furnishes you with everything you need. If you stay with the truth of the Word no matter what the media, Hollywood, your friends and family, or anyone else says, you will be free
