Psalms 55:22--Cast all your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous fall. This verse, I realize, is in the description of this page; but, its a verse worth mentioning again with a word or two to it this morning. Last night, my sister, Danielle Renee Lutz Weir, called me in an emotional state. I love my sister, and I grieve for her when she grieves, and, so, last night, as I was falling asleep in my bed, I thought about some things regarding her. Yes, she has made some boo boos in her life; who hasnt? I have, thats for sure. But in her there has been some tremendous changes. She, in all her 40 years (sorry, Daniee, had to say the age...lol) has never given one thought to God or His grace. Just within the last year has she made the change in her heart through repentance and a 180º turn in her direction facing the throne of God, instead of away from it. However, she is still traversing the path of consequences due to some previous errors on her part; though, she is trying to correct those grievances. So, what was it I told her last night on the telephone that I feel the need to share it with all of you? If you give your cares, your problems, your issues, your sins, your hurts, etc. to God, as He said for you to do, then do NOT take them back out of His hands. That would be the same as you coming to my door and asking for $20 for gasoline for your vehicle. What good would that $20 do if I took it back from you when you left my home? It would do no good. And, likewise, there is no good that will come of you taking back all those cares, problems, issues, sins, hurt, etc. that you initially gave to God. Let God do what He promises He will do...without your interference. Dont be an Indian-giver. Danielle, I hope this morning you still have the same peace that you so obviously received last night while we were talking one to the other. God has a plan and a destiny for you; learn to rely on Him and trust Him, even when you cant trust others, because God loves you, and had you been the only one on the planet, God would have still sent His Son for you; He loves you that much. All my friends, have an awesome day...on purpose.
