Psoriasis I have a friend who is suffering with Psoriasis. Can anyone help with some information I can share with her. A month or so ago she was getting antibiotics at an infectious disease clinic and had a bad reaction. Since then she has gotten worse. She has been getting Laser Treatment recently. She sent me this note tonight. Every morning I wake up with a new health surprise. Sometimes good, some not. Today...not so good. I cant even look in the mirror anymore without wanting to cry at times. I look and feel like a monster. Because my immune system was shot from that last medication, I can acquire new infections at any time. This morning I had a new infection on my nose. Last week I had to cancel my hair appointment due to the lesions on my scalp. Ive got a feeling I wont be meeting you for lunch. I must have had a Im just so depressed from this whole situation. what I can do ok? Sorry, but Im sure you will understand. Im still waiting for insurance to verify and approve my new medication to stop the psoriasis flair ups. Im one big mess!! Hope to see you soon...(but not looking good). Thanks for any suggestions. One more note, her husband is a doctor! She began on Energizing Protien and Vitalizer but stopped her auto ship . :(
