Public Information: The Federal Reserve, aka The Fed The Federal Reserve is a (privately owned) central banking system of the U.S. and operates outside of government control. To put it plainly, ALL the dollars that we use today are put into circulation as DEBT money loaned to the government at INTERESTS, and paid back by our income TAX. How does the Fed have so much money? They just print more money. This is how inflation works, how your money is worth less every time they create more money out of nothing and loan it to the government. The Federal Reserve is an independent agency, and that means basically that there is no other agency of government which can overrule actions that we take. – Alan Greenspan
