Public Notice – Our Regulatory Program is issuing the Final South Pacific Division (SPD) Regional Compensatory Mitigation and Monitoring Guidelines (Guidelines). These Guidelines, effective January 12, 2015, are the culmination of a five-year process to develop Regional Guidelines and related procedures to ensure consistent and transparent application of the 2008 Mitigation Rule. These Guidelines are applicable in all four SPD Districts – Albuquerque, Los Angeles, Sacramento and San Francisco. Please take a look at these Guidelines and the related procedures at spd.usace.army.mil/Missions/Regulatory/PublicNoticesandReferences.aspx. Also, please note the Guidelines are final, and the Regulatory Program is not accepting comments on the document. The Public Notice is informational only.
