Public Participation Meeting re: Zoning Application (CP130019) Adjacent to Laurel Springs - Aspire at Forsyth, LLC Thursday, January 23rd, 2014 at 6pm at Old Atlanta Park Recreation Center at 810 Nichols Road (across from Lambert HS) Aspire of Forsyth, LLC, a developer, has submitted a Conditional Use Permit (CP) for the 8.36 acres of land between Pops! and Old Mathis Airport Road which runs along and straddles Karen White Drive. I have attached a letter from their lawyers, dated 2 days ago, which clearly denotes its location and planned shape. According to their CP (CP130019), Aspire is requesting to construct a senior housing, assisted living facility on 8.36 acres with 100 units at a density of 11.96 units per acre with 100 parking spaces currently zoning Commercial Business District (CBD). It is important to note that this land is currently zoned Commercial. Please consider making time to attend the meeting on the 23rd. Come with an open mind and open ears.
