Public Relations Coordinator Alliance Catholic CU Southfield Alliance Catholic CU is seeking a public relations coordinator for its Southfield office. The qualified applicant will be positive, driven and talented, and will provide direction and day-to-day administration for the credit union’s community outreach, charitable giving and youth financial literacy programs. This includes managing parish, organization, school and community relationships as well as public and community relations. The public relations coordinator is responsible for effectively and efficiently managing available resources to administer programs and maximize positive exposure. The position’s goal is to improve the credit union’s brand recognition within applicable target markets by utilizing communication and educational strategies and tactics and developing relationships with affiliates, parishes, organizations, educational institutions and membership. A successful candidate will have college degree from a four year educational institution or five to ten years of similar experience, an extremely high aptitude for organization and attention to detail, coordinating multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with extraordinary interpersonal communication and relational development skills. This person will show strength in developing and maintaining successful relationships that result in lasting partnerships, managing multiple projects and tasks, responding to incoming and drafting outgoing communications while innovating new ideas, concepts and solutions. Excellent interpersonal communication and relational development skills along with professional traits in alignment with Alliance Catholic CUs core values and core competencies are essential. Experience in working with multiple resources to coordinate projects and generate results within scheduled deadlines and sales results such as new accounts, products and services, and relationships preferred. An aptitude for social media engagement, proficiency in public speaking with strong presentation skills and an ability to relay information in an engaging, informative and easy-to-understand manner is also preferred.
