Public Service Announcement Public Meeting – New Responsible Dog Owner By-law October 21st, 2013 (Iqaluit, Nunavut) The City of Iqaluit would like to inform residents that there will be a public meeting held on Wednesday, November 13th, 2013 in relation to the new Responsible Dog Owner By-law. The purpose of the meeting is to seek input from citizens, groups and organizations, to hear any concerns relating to the proposed new by-law as well as to provide answers to any questions or concerns. The meeting will be held at St. Jude’s Parish Hall from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. If any citizen, group or organization is unavailable to attend the meeting, they are encouraged to provide a written submission to City Council. The submission should be provided to the attention of the City Clerk’s office and can be dropped off at City Hall or sent via email to [email protected] or faxed to (867) 979-0228 by no later than Friday, November 8th, 2013. You may obtain a copy of the current by-laws or the proposed new by-law by calling the City Clerk’s office at 979-5667.
