Public Service Message: The news this weekend from KQED is that radio is defunct. Podcasts will lead the way. Really? As a guy that likes math, it means that the beam from KGO and KCBS is now different and that the style/pattern of available information will now be, mmm polygonal? Now there are blog casts and pod casts and no one will have a common experience as before. That means more individuality, more question asking, more permutations, more combinations, more ...irrational recognition, more... communities/tribes/local humming. Does anybody remember Van Amburg on Channel 7 from El Cerrito, https://youtube/watch?v=nni8dYyEatY. I like his runonsentence style, if you can remember it. That was fun! Now we will probably have more. The horizon has gone from two dimensions to three. Its an explosion of possibility... There will always be radio. And, but of course, kudos to kqed radio programming and the fourth estate.
