Public invited to vote for song of the year and breakthrough artiste for 2015 Reggae Month By popular demand, the Jamaica Reggae Industry Association of Jamaica (JaRIA) has extended by one week its invitation to members of the public to participate in the selection of the Song of the Year and Breakthrough Artiste of the Year for the period November 1, 2013 to October 31, 2014. The deadline for voting is now Friday January, 23. The awards will be presented at the prestigious 2015 JaRIA Honour Awards event on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Courtleigh Auditorium. Both categories have five nominees. For song of the year the nominees are: Diamond Sox – Iba Mahr; Mi Alrighht - Chronixx and Kabak Pyramid; My Day - Tarrus Riley; Syvan – Ding Dong; and Who Knows – Chronixx and Protoje. The nominees for Breakthrough Artistes of the Year are: Esco Levi; Jesse Royal, Keznamdi; Nature; and Zagga Members of the public can cast their votes on the Jamaica Reggae Industry Association’s website at Votes may also be cast on the Facebook event page for The JaRIA 2015 Honour Awards.
