Public or private? Thank you, Facebook, smooch smooch smooch. My hands in the air- dont shoot!- as I advance toward the line of military-equipped police in smalltown USA. Not your fathers America, kid, and dont I know it! My father fought in WW2 and Korea to protect, promote & preserve the American Way, and to tell you the truth, I have no idea what that is anymore. Freedom to assemble? Freedom of the press? The right to bear arms (in defense of liberty)? Not your fathers America. What did I do today? I used a turn signal! I hardly even once checked my smartphone as I was operating my motor vehicle! I let someone in ahead of me when two lanes narrowed into one! Im listening to Whos Next- I call that a bargain, the best I ever had! Happy to be an American today, dont get me wrong. The chihuahua needs walking. I got work ahead of me. My kids are healthy, my girlfriends excited to see me (after a 2-month summer break), the rent aint due for another 3 weeks, and theres an unopened can of Bumblebee tuna on the kitchen shelf, Best Foods mayo in the fridge, living lettuce, 6-grain bread...now if only I had a can of Campbells tomato soup. Oh, well, you cant have everything. Peace, sister
