Public urged to help Scarborough burglary investigation Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at Brompton by Sawdon, near Scarborough. Officers investigating the break-in at a property on Cayley Lane, are appealing to anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the village overnight between Monday 2 September and Tuesday 3 September 2013. Anyone who can help the investigation is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 - select option 2 - and ask for Detective Constable Kate Peat or Scarborough CID.
