Published on 12 Oct 2014 Singer/Songwriter Christy Moore does not drink Irish tap water! He says the thing that interested him the most is that the politicians in Ireland seem very anxious to have their Own water filtered; they want their own water filtered in Leinster House...YET, they are quite happy for us in the rest of the country to drink water thats fluoridated! I think the fact that Ireland is the only country in the EU that still adds this substance to the tap water should be a cause for great concern. People need to sit up and take notice of the side effects of fluoride. We all need to find out a lot more about it and take a lot more interest in what is being done to us. Interviewer: Do you want to comment on the fact that Ireland is adding this substance which is classified as a medicine in the EU...How would this affect our export trade as we are exporting to Europe because essentially they are importing products that are medical products? If this information got out it could damage our export trade!?... Christy: I imagine it will and when this information gets out thats when the government will probably start to take notice...they will probably be more concerned about exports than giving us Fluoride in the water. I also feel there is an opportunity now if they bring in water rates, that we demand that we have fluoride free water.
