Published on Jan 16, 2015 youtu.be/jH1V7FkGgN8 Less than one week after the Paris terror attacks, new word out of the Pentagon. The US military is sending around 400 new troops into SYRIA. These American soldiers, assigned to training moderate Syrian opposition. Some of the same forces that have fought against Syria’s President Bashar Assad, AND against ISIS. You might remember this plan laid out under FORMER Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel in August last year. Under President Obama’s direction, the Pentagon announced they would be sending American forces into another sovereign country to battle the Islamic State, and train a rebel army. One of the reasons it’s taken so long for this deployment to actually happen is because so many Senators and top defense officials aren’t exactly sure how to identify who is truly an ally, and who is truly an enemy. Time and time again, President Obama vowed, American boots would not see the ground in Iraq OR Syria. Now, we know for sure, there are American boots on the ground in BOTH countries. There have also been several unconfirmed reports of CIA operatives and other armed US agents on the ground in battle zones in Syria. The official stance out the White House is that these armed soldiers are only there to offer training and military guidance to the other existing national forces.
