Pug Of The Day Kody, male 11 years $125 adoption donation Hey there! Thanks for stopping by to check out my bio! My name is Kody but foster mom calls me Kody Odie Odie just to be silly. You may be thinking that I look kinda familiar to you and thats because you probably saw me on my tv debut all dressed up to promote the pugs for a mega adoption event. That was a really fun day!! Even though I have been with APARN for a while I asked foster mom to hold off on writing my bio so she could tell my story. One day the nice people at APARN got a call to come pick me up at a shelter because I had been abandoned. Right away they noticed that I had trouble using my back legs so they took me to the doggie doctor. The doctor said have a bit of a problem with my back so my legs are kinda weak - I even had to wear grippy socks to help me with traction. Now that its been a while, I dont need to wear my special socks anymore because my legs have gotten a bit stronger...yahoo! Even though my legs have improved, I still have some incontinence issues - Ive been told its a pretty common thing in dogs back issues. As much as I try to make it to the dog door to do my business outside, I just dont get there in time. Foster mom tries to keep me on a potty schedule so I will do my business outside and when I am inside I get to wear my man pants (belly band) specially made by APARN volunteers. Foster mom is still teaching me how to be a pug. I didnt know what cuddling was until I came to visit. I am still a little skittish when I get picked up, but I promise I am working on becoming a cuddle pug. Youre probably wondering whats next for me. Well...if you adopt me, Ill live happily ever after.
