Pug Of The Day Niblet, female 7 years $275 adoption donation Hi all pug people out there! I’m Niblet, or as my foster mom likes to call me, Tiny. I’m a “tiny” thing – weighing in at a whopping 9.8 lbs! Don’t think I’ll be winning any heavyweight championships any time soon! Despite my size, Im mighty feisty. There are 2 pugs in my foster home and I get along with them just fine now. When I first came home with foster mom, I was a little bit nervous and did growl and snap a couple of times, but it just took foster mom shushing me and making me feel safe for me to realize that the pugs weren’t going to hurt me. The big one, I can say he’s big because he is almost 3 times my size, always wants me to play, but I’m not very interested in his antics. I do like to play with foster mom, she says I sound like a dirt bike because of the growling noise I make *chuckles* I do love to lick my foster sister’s ears. Don’t look at me like that! Don’t YOU do that too? No? Oh well! You’re missing out! You should try it sometimes. I like green beans and peanut butter. I’ve noticed we don’t get a lot of treats around here, which I’m okay with because I am not really motivated by food anyway and dont want to ruin my girlish figure. I love to snuggle and be held, the first event I attended, a lot of people got the chance to hold me because I could escape from the pens. I may not win heavyweight championships, but I bet I could win the high jump!! There are a bunch of blankets on the couch here, I like to snuggle down into them, sometimes the big guy can’t see me and steps on me, he’s kinda dorky hehe. I like to sleep anywhere – but at night, I prefer to sleep in the big bed with foster mom and the other pugs. The first night, foster mom put me in a crate, I did not like it. I barked every few minutes until she came and got me out – I wasn’t going to let her sleep without me! I do okay in it when she’s gone, but would prefer to be out and I really let her know when she gets home by making a lot of noise. She says if she had a doggie door, it wouldn’t be a problem because I am really good with one of those! I am really good on a leash, although, when I see the stray cats around here, I like to bark at them and try to run after them. I am also really good in the car, I shake a little at first, but settle in very quickly. Are you looking for an adorable, sweet and tiny girl? Then pick me! You could almost fit me in your pocket!
