While it is understandable that people feel a connection to the house because of Davy, the house is not all that remains of him. His memory is and will continue to be kept alive through his music and the Monkees’ TV show, and through the lives he touched. The amount of ownership and entitlement that some people seem to feel toward Davy (and the other Monkees) is disturbing, however...and to make an already difficult decision even harder by going after someone who had nothing to do with the decision to sell the house is beyond the pale. This woman is doing her job--nothing more, nothing less--and she should not be attacked for it as if she pilfered the house of Davy’s belongings and is selling it off for personal gain. Totally unacceptable.
