Pulse Dive on vinyl sold out in about 3 hours. This is both a good and a bad thing. Good in that there is obvious demand for my records on vinyl (thanks!) and bad in that inevitably, many people were disappointed that they could not to get a copy. Shadow Play and Dream Tempest vinyl presses were also extremely limited and this too led to many people missing out. Sorry about that. Just to clarify things; Im not doing limited runs of vinyl to intentionally limit supply, or make them collectors items to sell for $$$ on Discogs or whatever.. That shit doesnt interest me. Quite simply, Im pressing 100 copies these days because its all I have the physical energy to manage. Preparing even 100 records takes me the better part of a week to sort, package, send etc.. Its pretty exhausting and quite honestly, extremely boring! Im not complaining though... Far from it! I just needed to scale things back a bit, for my own sanity if nothing else. I can sell a lot more copies, but the money side of things never interested me anyway, nor will I be repressing anything on vinyl. Its why I will always release my tunes digitally alongside the physical, because even though the vinyl is limited, I dont believe in artificially restricting the actual music from anyone who wants to hear it. Im releasing 24bit studio-quality FLAC files of all my music from now on too, which is about as transparent as it can get from my brain/computer to your ears. Anyway, the good news is that with every vinyl run I press, the manufacturer usually sends me about 10 extra copies, which I keep in case of packages arrives damaged, or lost entirely. I hold onto these for about a month or so, and if any remain afterwards, I put them up for sale. Right now, I have about 5 spare copies of Pulse Dive and about 7 extra copies of Shadow Play on vinyl too. The plan is to list these for sale shortly (between 2-4 weeks from now, if all goes according to plan) so hopefully at least a few of you can still get the opportunity to buy a copy, if you want them. Im not one to dictate how people spend their money, but please consider not spending your hard earned money for these records on OTT listings on Discogs. I wont see any of the money and honestly, it just encourages more random people to snatch up my records in future with no intention other than to sell them on for profit in future. Cheers.
