Pump 2 please... Thats £10.02... No no no... £10.00 £10.02... But dont worry about it... Woah... Hold on there mr sainsbury s cashier... Dont be coming across like you are doing me a favour or I am somehow trying to get away with not paying for 2p of fuel.... And il tell you for why... The gauge was reading £10.00 on the dot when I stopped fuelling, disengaged the trigger mechanism and returned the gun to its holster, thereby shutting off the fuel feed.... How do I know this? Il tell you how I know this... I inadvertently stopped fuelling at £9.99 and it nearly had my OCD in full overdrive as I slowly started to depress the trigger... A trickle of sweat forming on my brow as I depressed the trigger further aiming for £10.00 yet the gauge did not increment...an age seemed to past as I increased pressure on the trigger, seemingly with no effect until bang! £10.00 on the nose... !! Both me and my sphincter sighed a sigh of relief as the gods of OCD were satiated once more... Let me assure you mr cashier, had that gauge even gone over by 1p , I would be stood here presenting you with £11.00 or the next closest whole pound denomination had I not hit £11.00 on the nose ... So no sir, mr sainsburys is at his work and perhsps rather than me not worrying about it perhaps I should Inform HM Revenue and Customs, weights and measures department that your fuel delivery equipment needs recalibrated as it appears to be overcharging for fuel... Goodnight Sir!, Goodnight!
