Punjab Chief Minister meets Chairman ICBC bank in Beijing: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Monday met Chairman of the largest Chinese bank, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Jiang Jianqing and other officials in Beijing. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif attaches top priorities to Gaddani and Gawadar project, as these will help overcome the energy crisis leading to increase in the exports. Assuring Chinese investors of all facilities and foolproof security, he said Chinese investments in the energy sector and garments zone will be warmly welcomed. Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal speaking the occasion said Pak-China friendship has entered a new era of financial cooperation. In his remarks, the Chairman of Chinese Bank said a large number of Chinese investors are deeply interested in doing business in Pakistan.
