Pupdate on Anna, the Parvo Dog in Nashville, Tennessee. She was tied out for 18 months with no shelter, and had two litters back to back. When she finally made it into rescue with Dogs Deserve Better volunteers in Nashville, TN, she had to be rushed to the emergency vet on a weekend, and it ended up she had parvo. The treatment was super costly because of the high end vet care, and she was too sick to move to a regular vet. But in the end she pulled through, and we wanted to say again, thank you, thank you, thank you to all the wonderful folks who donated for her care! Heres what she looks like today. Rebecca Helwig tells us After spending THREE weeks in isolation at a vet in Nashville as she was treated and then was recovering from a VERY BAD case of Parvo, sweet Anna is now living her Happily Ever After with her new dad Jake! Anna went from slowly dying alone at the end of a rope tied to a tree in her yard, to living the high life in an upscale home with her new dad. Anna is healthy and has made a full recovery! Jake is a runner so he and Anna enjoy a long run every single morning. They frequent the dog park and Anna has lots of new dog friends in her new neighborhood. Anna is Jakes pride and joy and she travels everywhere with him. They are so bonded and she is absolutely cherished. Her dark past is just a faded memory and her bright future will be long and happy as she lives the life she was always meant to live! You all made this possible. Thank you, from Anna and DDB.
